And independant working minded girl who would stand up tp you if she wants and decides her own decisions, who has brains in her head and who would have deep meaningful conversations with.
The reason I ask this is because all the guys in my school seem to be interested in pretty girls in mini skirts who hate learning and love purses and I'm wondering if any guys out there see beyond the superficial...

You must be in high school, because that is pretty much what most high school boys want. All that will change in college. And when it comes to choosing a life long mate, most guys want a woman like the 2nd one you described. A smart independent minded woman will be a great partner in raising children, buying a house, etc. I am in the service industry and some woman say "I have to discuss this with my husband." I would never marry a woman who can't make these kinds of decisions. Plus, an intelligent woman will always be interesting. Looks fade. Just hold in there. Your time is coming. Also, don't give up on high school boys. What are your interests? Join a club or attend activities that you like to do and there will be others there that like the same things.

The second one, she sounds like a real woman and when it comes to getting physical with a woman looks take a back seat. Guys at your school are interested in pretty girls because of exactly that, they are in school
