Yes, but not as a religious event. I observe it as a special holiday to gather with family and friends to exchange gifts as a token of love for each other.

Things done in religion should be done according to God's instructions. The Bible nowhere instructs the celebration of Christmas, therefore I have no authority from God to add such to my religion (Christian).

Nope, I stick with the Bible.

The issue of Christmas creation was instituted around pagan worship surrounding winter solstice. The word "Christmas" is a contraction meaning "Christ's mass." It is derived from the Middle English Christemasse and Old English Cristes mæsse, a phrase first recorded in 1038 (Source: Wikipedia). It is therefore a pagan tradition introduced by the Catholic Church, which was mixed with Christianity to remember Christ's birth.

Nowhere in the Scriptures one will find a commandment from God to institute such a worship for his birth at any date of the year. However, God command Christians to commemorate his death on the first day of the week (Mat 26:26-28; 1 Cor 11:23-26; Acts 20:7).

Of course! This is a high holiday for heathens. We get to celebrate the 12 days and nights of the Yuletide. Decorated and lit trees, exchanging gifts, feasting, passing the horn and toasting, mistletoe - all pagan/heathen

No, since it's full of fallacies and hypocrisy:
Christmas is NOT birth time of Jesus, nor of Christ.
Christmas is NOT the nicest time of the year, but the worst.
There were NOT 3 magi, but 3 gifts from Babylon Jews.
Wise men did NOT visit a babe, in a manger, at Bethlehem.
Shepherds do NOT abide flocks in fields at night at Xmas.
Xmas Tree is NOT Godly, but vain (Babylon) custom: Jer 10.
King of the Jews (Law) is NOT The King of Kings (Grace).

I tolerate Christmas and celebrate when it's over.

Why? Because Christians impose their beliefs on everyone during their season of greed and extravagance.

Does anyone really know what Santa has to do with the birth of Jesus?

I know Jesus was NOT actually born on that day, but that is the day the church has set aside to celebrate his birth - his coming to be among us as Emmanuel, so yes - I CELEBRATE it!

We celebrate a strictly Santa, reindeer, presents, and tree version of Christmas. And really the only reason we do that is for our daughter and we'll continue to do it for the new little one when he gets here as well.
