For someone like that i say something trinket like, if you can't afford anything as expensive as her other millionaire friends will probably give her. Try something with more sentimental value.

Nothing...multimillionaires would never get a birthday present from me unless it was like close family. The whole idea just isnt sitting with me I guess.

If I had that much money and someone wanted to get me a present, I would ask them to donate the money or something. But...you'll get her something. I guess things remembered has nice stuff if your stuck. Go to thingsremembered.com

Do you have a photo(s) of you and the birthday girl? If so, put them together in a frame designed to hold multiple pictures, or just one really great picture in a cool frame. There are digital frames now that you can put a slide show of several pictures on, but they are over $100 just for a simple version.

Home made cookies or fudge or something like that because that person can't possibly be impressed with anything you could afford to buy, so I'd go with the the home made goodies. Or you could just go out and buy a tin of mixed nuts or candy or cookies, but that would be for someone you are only aquainted with.

If she's nice, donate money to a charity in her name.
Like the local library, or another local cause.
I really like Heifer International. They provide livestock and training to very poor people to help them become self-sufficient. When you donate, you get a cute card that says something like, "Mrs. Smith gave 20 ducklings in your name," to give to the recipient. We've made gift donations as small as $25 there, for family who "have everything."

Something unique, from you. Something that cannot be bought in a store.

Make something that only you can do. The more you put into this, the better of the results. Think on this carefully.

Since she's rich, she doesn't NEED anything, but something from the heart can't be bought anywhere!

Good luck!

I would say a nice bouquet of flowers would be fine. She didn't invite you because of what she'd get from you; she invited you because she wanted YOU to be there. So don't break the bank.
