NO way. He says we can go to Him anytime and He will listen. He never sleeps. We are suppose to rest on the Sabbath. We are to cook and do things needed to survive but I don't think God likes us to work on the Sabbath. Jobs that can wait till Mon. should ,I believe. But unfortunately in this modern time we have to work to keep our jobs.. It's too bad that we can't take that day for just rest, isn't it.

John 5:16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
God works on sabbaths.

G-d doesn't rest on the Sabbath, Shabbat is the day He refrained from work. He does not get tired :-)
But maybe we should. At least no complaining ones.

Praying is not a prohibited activity on Shabbat. There are however 39 categories of prohibited activities such as lighting a fire, handling money and writing.

Dude, Brother-In-Christ, man, we are to pray EVERY DAY!
Missing one day of prayer can cause some people to become out of habit of prayer.
I been making a point with myself to not go a day without praying! I missed days before, and man do I HONESTLY regret it!

Did he, I thought he rested on the seventh day after creating everything, but He did tell us to keep that day Holy. Just cause we pray to him dosen't mean we bother Him his holy Spirit and his Angles help. I think.

Good point.
Wouldn't people also have to hold their breath on the Sabbath?

He can hear the prayers, He just can't answer any prayers. Those in the know do their praying on Monday.
