1 kilometer (metric system)

Almost universally used outside the USA
We use miles and so does England
We're both backwards in a forward world where the metric system is easy to understand.

1 cm
100 cm is 1 meter
etc

0 deg C is freezing
100 deg C is boiling
etc

Peace

Jim

A "click" stands for kilometer (1000 meters).
If you want to know it in American Standard, convert 1 kilometer into yards or miles.

A click is one Kilometer.
1000 meters.
Its very, very important to know that, as everything is based off of the meteric system when dealing with land navigation...particularly when you need to call for fire from Artillery or Mortars.
Its actually a 'klick.'
Hell, even our pace counts are done in meters...so, skip this feet crap I keep seeing on here...its like none of you served in the Grunts.

1000 meters, 1 grid square on a topographical map. 3.3 feet in a meter, 3300 feet in a click, 20 clicks roughly equals 12.5 miles. Hope this helps
