Aham Brahmasmi: (Sanskrit) "I am God." Famous phrase often repeated in the Upanishads. In this ecstatic statement of enlightenment, "I" does not refer to the individuality or outer nature, but to the essence of the soul which is ever identical to God (or Brahman, the Supreme Being) as Satchidananda and Parasiva. One of four Upanishadic "great sayings," mahavakya.

I see Spirit like the water in a pitcher, that has been poured into several different containers. I think we all desire to come "home" at a certain point. Maybe some people need to experience the Divinity inside themselves before letting go of that individual identity to re-merge with Spirit(God) As for myself, I feel ready to come home. I don't desire to be A god, I desire to merge WITH God.

The Spirit is but a reflection of a fraction of your soul. Your mind can not unify the separateness of the illusion of being apart from God, but your Soul knows that you are an individual piece of the whole of God.

I think that you reflect the Spirit of God. The good things that you do are a reflection of what the spirit of God is telling you to do. Or conversely the bad things you do can be a reflection of the spirit of evil.

We are the only creature to have a soul and a body. The body is to be responsive to the soul, but because we are imperfect and concentrate on selves, we err and the body is responsive to the soul. The soul can reflect you or you can reflect the spirit. Go for it wiseacres. You're on roll. Gotcha thinkin', make othe dudes do the same.

Yes, we are reflecting each other.
God is showing me me and I am....
If my mind were to shut down, would I then be God?
Am I not God already, only blocking that which I am with thought?
But I am in a state of mind with thought. Another's role is to be God that way. Mine is this way. Bow and pass.
Namaste. Aloha.

Your body is a vessel that carries your spirit, therefore your spirit reflects you. Though I know mine doesn't desire to be God.
