this peobably isn't the answer you are wanting but regular visits to your dentist is the best way to avoid the dreaded "drill".

It is important to be aware of the state of health your mouth is in. Today, dentists know more than ever about the science of dental diseases. By applying this knowledge and helping you to understand the disease processes that can affect your teeth and gums, you will now be able to control and even prevent these diseases and thus reduce your need for treatment.

Hello penny,
You need to see the dentist if condition of the teeth really dictates it. You can't get it treated unlike medical problems for which you may only need a prescription! But you can minimize your visit to a dentist in future if you maintain a good oral health. You can also try some online dental consultation provided by several clinics. Please feel free to ask for more information about this on email.Take care.

Well, you can hide under your bed, but I don't recommend it. Sorry you can't avoid it unless you don't mind having your tooth pulled in a couple of years. The longer you delay it, the worse it gets. Nobody likes drilling, but everyone gets it sooner or later. Just promice yourself a nice treat like a cup of your favorite icecream after the appointment is over.

Are you sure it's a cavity? Maybe it's not. Only the dentist can tell. Maybe you're scared for nothing.

Honey, you can't avoid going to the dentist. It doesn't matter if you brush and floss your teeth everyday. In order to have real healthy teeth you have to go to the dentist at least 2 or 3 times a year.

Take really really good care of your teeth. That will minimize the time you have to spend at the dentist, at least. You really shouldn't totally avoid it, because your teeth are pretty important.

Also, cavities can be fixed pretty easily. It might feel weird, but it shouldn't hurt. :)

There is nothing wrong, the longer you avoid them the more problems you will have, Remember they go to school to help people not to hurt them. all they want is to help, and they can't help you if you don't visit them twice a yera minimum.
