I just figured that since I don't know where I should go, I will just try both y'know from Marines I will switch to Air Force and If I like the Air Force I will stay, but If I don't I will go back to the Marines
Since most people think I should go to the AF since I graduated in the Top 10 of my class and I graduated High School 2 years earlier and I have a lot of scholarships in the table, don't get me wrong I like the AF's benefits but I know deep down what I really want is the Marines since I was like 11 or 12, but if the AF will work for me, I am willing to change, it is better to serve your country where your country really needs you and where you will be better off, right??? I am one confused teenager =(

oh and the recruiter does not help that much, since his interest is only to make me sign the dotted line

nope. not easily at least. For one ,the AF is NOT taking any prior service people. and just because you are accepted for a commission in one branch does NOT mean you are good to go in another branch. you can't just switch back and forth whenever you feel like it. Commissioned officers pretty much have a lifetime commitment. in order to get out of it, you must resign your commission, which means you may be unable to be an officer in another branch period.
Choose one or the other, but don't expect to be able to do both.

Ok I am a little bias here but some facts that I do know are that once you go through the Marine Corps Bootcamp you wil never have to go through another one agian. The Marines are the HARDEST branch to get into! If you go to another branch first then to the Marines you will have to go through bootcamp agian. You can always chance once your EAS is up. Once your EAS is up they can't tell you what to do and what not to do. I have known LOTS of people to change branchs for one reason or another, it is all up to you! The Marines are what most consider the best they do land, air and sea when others like the Air Force only do Air. Marines work hard and play hard. Check and see which one has the job you are looking for, that might help you decide also. Each branch has different jobs and the one you may want not all branches may have. Hope this helps you! Good Luck!

Although not technically impossible, you will be very hard-pressed to find anyone who has been a commissioned officer in both the USAF and the USMC.
Your inability to choose is understandable at your age, however, once a commitment to either service is made, any change between services would appear as indecisiveness. That is not a quality any armed force desires in its commissioned officers. It also displays a disregard for all the investment in training and experience that the US government had already afforded you. Careless management of resources is also not a desirable quality in a commissioned officer.
ROTC or Academy graduates are permitted to take commissions in any of the other services, but it is not guaranteed and is subject to the needs of the respective services. Perhaps that is a path you might consider.
Most of the other answers above do not seem to be well-informed or submitted by a senior commisioned officer.

Slow down. You have to have a 4 year college degree to become a Air Force officer. The education is better in the Air Force. You will see more action and be part of a very special team if you join the Marines. You need to way out your options. Go to college. If you are that smart, get a ROTC scholarship. That way you will get that military training and become an officer.

Both the Marine Corps and the Airforce are suitable branches of service. In the Marine Corps your going to find long physically exusted days that never seem to end and you'll be in the thick of the battle 90% of the time. Airforce you'll find mind challenging, physically unbearable days that can lead to a very promising and exciting future. Airforce generally deploys overseas for 60 days or less. Its all a matter of how you want to spend the next few years of your life. But remember this: After joining the airforce and trying to go into the Marine Corps after your time served may prove to be difficult. As per different ways of life within the two branches. Army usally accepts all prior service without a problem. Hope this helped

It is unlikely that if you are in the Marines they will let you transfer. First, because you have to serve your time owed to the Marines. Second, the USAF is downsizing and has to get rid of people. It is not going to get rid of people who came into the USAF only to take someone from the Marines.
When you transfer from one branch to another, you lose rank.
With rank goes pay. Most people do not want to lose money.
I suggest you go to college a few years and get it clear in your own mind what you want to do rather than go at things with such "flip flop" thinking. You need to decide if you are joining to serve your country or to get the best deal.
