I hate that soooo much. I've wondered the same thing! For some reason, some people in this forum seem to have a fear that Jews are sneaking in and pretending to be Muslims just to insult us....O_O
I am not such a conspiracy theorist, lmao...
I agree with the first person to answer (somewhat)....people like to use Jews as scapegoats... *shrug*...good question....i give you a star =D
Edit: Rorschach - the same to you! =) Have a nice day.

What the Jews call us Muslims all the time... Maybe not where you people live but here in the Middle East they do...
Firstly, if someone confesses Judism is a better religion then Islam they are a Jew..
It is not an insult to tell someone they are a Jew if they are saying they believe in the Torah more then the Quran, same as it is not an insult to say someone is a christian if they rather read the bible then the Quran....
Sister, Islam is not a joke,,,,we can not insult Islam and then still claim we are Muslim.. if you think it is ok then you have a lot to learn..........
We do you not ask questions like why is it ok for Muslims to insult their own religion? A matter of fact I will?

as salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.
Insha'Allah, the current intolerance and bigotry displayed by many Muslims in regards to the Jews developed to its current level after Worl War II when European and American Jews invaded Palestine in their effort to create a Jewish National state which is now present day Israel.
After the British said that no one was living in Palestine (calling it "unoccupied land") the Jerwish groups began to illegally mirgrate there, created a civil war and with that financial assistance of their American and European backers, took the land from the Palestinians. At that tme, the Palestinians were composed of Muslims of Arabic descent, Arabic Jews and Christians who had all been living in peaceful co-existance up to that time.
This cuase an increase in poverty, an exonomic downturn that iterally impoverished all of those who lost their homelands, destroyed educational systems, etc. all of which creted and gave a rise to a great deal of frustration.
As a sense of "nationalism " arose, some used this, mixed with the frustration that was being felt, and distorted teachings from the Holy Qur'an to fuel a hatred for a people who had, in fact, stolen everything from them.
To this day, that hatred and bitterness still exist. It has now spread to those nations that have become allies of Israel, especially those that have used modern colonialism in an attempt ot gain power and control, especially in regards to natural resources such as oil at the expense of Arab nations and peoples.
The term "Jew" is now used as an insult by those persons caught up in this hatred to demonize anyone and everyone who disagrees with them, who may have a different economic agenda than they, who don't support the Plaestinian movement, etc.
Unfortunately, this is misguided as Israel, despite its claims to the same , is not a "Jewish state" as such would be a theocrachy, that is a nation with no king (president, prime minister, parliment , etc.) or other government and which would be ruled soley by God. This anger should be rightly turned on to the present government of Israel and her allies in cnstruct manners and means so as to resolve the issues that presently divide all of the peoples of the MIddle East.
In the Holy Qur'an, we are taught that Jews, Christians and Sabians are our spiritual brothers and sisters as the ahl al kitab or people of the book. HIstorically, until the twentieith century, we lived in peace with them with the exception being during the time of the Crusades. As Muslims, we should still be living in peace with them if they are not attacking us or our brothers or those under our protection.
Draw your own conclusions from this but please, work constructively for peace among all peoples.
Ma'a salaam

Not only like that because I said abortion should be allowed they convicted me of commiting adultry.
And I agree with B, Jewish people are friendly and Jewish is not an insult but when you say it to a Muslim, you are questioning their faith. Ù

I have been using the Israel section for months and I rarely get any insult from the Jews although I disagree with them most of the time. Please visit the Israel section and look at my answers there. I bet if I give the same answers to the muslims here my account would be suspended in less than an hour.
Peace

I want to thank all of the answers for your kindness... I am Jewish, and read this question because someone in my network starred it.
Honestly, I was bracing myself for anti-Semetic responses about how we are ruining the world... I'm so happy I was wrong. And Mew is right, we have no desire to sneak in and insult you! Like every ethnicity, we unfortunately also have a few crazies...
However most of us really do want to live in the Middle East in peace. I wish you all an easy fast during your month of Ramadan
PS- This statement is utterly false: "Firstly, if someone confesses Judism is a better religion then Islam they are a Jew." I cannot stress how wrong that statement is. The process of conversian to Judaism is VERY COMPLEX. In Islam, you can convert when you read the statement about there being one Allah and Muhammad as his messanger. In Judaism you are ONLY JEWISH IF YOU ARE BORN TO JEWISH PARENTS or IF YOU CONVERT. Conversion is very complex-- it involves months of studying, learning and discussion before the ceremony can occur.

Because Jews are historically used as scapegoats, so to those more ignorant on this forum being called Jewish is the same as being called an idiot.

A bit of guts croweye, nice to see.
I am not a Muslim, but I am sick of the strong abusive Islamic emphasis in the media today. You could have blown me over, when I came here and saw that the little Muslims saying, "oh, we are so very sorry," in response to some bigoted zionist. Pathetic. Were are your guts? Where is your nerve, where is your backbone? I am not asking you to be abusive and aggressive for the sake of it; but I am saying to recognise what is happening around you; make a decision on what you personally stand for; and do your part to protect and defend it. I love you people but I feel like giving you a kick in the ***.

I'm not sure why people are doing that but I think it's really wrong. No group of people should ever be blamed for something one person said or did.
Peace!!

First of all, I call a spade a spade.... If someone comes on here and insults Islam and says that Judism is better then Islam they are no Muslim and they are a JEW... no matter if you like it or not.
What is wrong with you people... You allow others to say horrible things about Islam? If you keep acting like idiots and ignorant, and you stick up for these people insulting Islam then all of you can go hell..... You make me sick to my stomach...
Think about it.......who are any of you to come here and critize Islam..
Why is it ok to attack the Sunna and Wahabi School of Islam ...but if you say something about Shiia or Sufi they will report you, especially those who convert to Islam .... or are Shiia...
I am a Muslim!! I know my religion! You made a question because I know my religion and you are so weak in yours...I feel sorry for you........
I feel sorry for you Muslims who are so weak in your religion that you can not defend it, that you allow others to insult it like B and MIMI and some others...
You may not like my answers but I will never say bad towards Islam or mislead people about Islam...
Give me thumbs down because Allah(swt) will give me the thumbs up.......because I have courage to stand for my beliefs unlike you people who are afraid to say anything.......
May Allah Bless the Sunnah and curse the SHiia
