you should feed it 3 times a day . put the eggs somewhere that no one touches them, then when the hen is done laying eggs ,give th eggs back to the hen so they can hatch,and in about a month or so you will have little chicks.

Do you only have one chicken? Often hens will crow if they are the dominant hen in the flock, or if they are the only chicken around. They dont sound as practiced as the roosters usually, but they sure do crow. They will also make a huge amount of noise after laying an egg, that may be mistaken for a crow but actually is just clucking.
One time I had a hen who laid a clutch of eggs and raised a whole family, when her chicks were grown she started crowing like a rooster and spending time away from the flock. They will also crow if their ovary gets damaged and it messes they hormones up, but since your hen is still laying eggs this dosent seem to be the case.

Well, everything is fine, Mabe you have one chicken laying an egg and the other is a roo, most likely if you have more than one one will crow and other lays. I have a hen who thinks she is a roo. She doesnt crow only crows like after she lays an egg. She always attaks my rooster, its strange but nuttens wrong. I lov er still

Usualy the cocks crow in the mornings. Many hens do make a rucus after laying an egg.
