Is it dimpled in the center with no hair on it? That could be a mast cell tumor (benign, they can be taken off easily by the vet). It would look and feel like skin but not feel like a pimple ready to pop.

Mast cells come and go sometimes. Sometimes they stay. If it doesn't change color and doesn't enlarge you can probably wait till the next vet visit. If there IS change, then make an appointment to have it looked at.

I am not a vet, however I work in a human ophthalmologist office. When we see patients with "white growth" on their eye, it can a 'pterygium" or a "pinquecula" or a calcium deposit. Be very concern , especially if it's gowing over the pupil, it may start to affect the vision. In those cases surgery will be needed. Good luck!

that is because bettafix is just watered down melafix and pimafix. and those are just tea treee oil. also, the only reason they water down bettafix (besides it makes them more money) is because it's been known to kill bettas in full doses... not good stuff. it's never even been proven to work! instead, I'd try something like furan2. it's probably a bacterial infection, but it might be fungal. this should treat both. ----- ich is a parasite... it looks like grains of salt all over the fish.

My dog just had that exact thing, and it went away in about a week. If it gets worse, take her to a vet
