There are legit work from home jobs but it could take awhile to land a position because there are so many more people applying for these type of jobs. Some people can land a position in a couple of days while it can take other months!
If you go to my profile, there are work at home jobs listed-apply as to many companies as possible. I would recommend applying for inbound phone jobs because companies tend to hire more this time of year for the holidays.
