its my favorite dish at thanksgiving and i'm just wondering if its good or bad for the body

ok, so the cranberries are good for you, but if its not in juice form, but like sauce, is it bad then?

Cranberry's are very good for you. They are high in antioxidants and a good cleanser for your kidneys and bladder.

Juice is high in sugar too, so are the dried cranberries-you can't really get the berries without the sugar-so enjoy!

I just remembered I saw a recipe for home made cranberry sauce I think was sweetened with OJ and honey-might be a bit healthier.

Here's a few explanations: -It's no longer very well for you (has plenty of sugar) -They are most effective harvested among Halloween and Christmas -It's no longer very filling, so it most effective turns out proper to devour it with a colossal meal like on Thanksgiving! Also, cranberry sauce wasn't even eaten in the course of the primary thanksgiving due to the fact that the sugar that's used to make the sauce used to be undoubtedly no longer imported to the New World till in a while.

I don't like it but cranberry juice is. It's good for the kidneys and can promote healthy blood.

Cranberries are good, the sugar is bad - everything in moderation.

i know its good for your kidneys. I got my son to eat it this year by settn it next to the homemade bread he thought it was jelly
