It's getting that way. More and more of the world's educated population are realising that god does not exist and an imaginary friend is no longer necessary. Thus, they are no longer indoctrinating their children and religion is dying out. Slowly but surely. The Third World is perpetuating it and I DO include the US in that category in this case.
Note that the ex-Prime Minister of Britain, Tony Blair, said publicly recently that he kept his religion very close to his chest as, if he made an issue of it, the British people would think that he was a nutter (crazy person). That's the way it is in Europe but note that GWB boasts of his belief in a sky fairy wizard and all the current candidates for the next presidency are all claiming allegiance to a false god. How backward is the USA?
Accept the fact that being a religious person is very much out of favour these days and a life of fantasy will attract ridicule.
You are NOT the only one but you are seeing the signs of global atheism. For which I am very happy.
PS for an earlier answerer. The Internet was not invented by the US military. It was invented by a Brit.

If you're talking about this forum, there are those who seem to get their kicks from poking fun at believers. We should expect this, as Jesus Himself warned the disciples would be hated because they were no longer part of the world. Paul had his share of troubles, too, but he was never swayed to give up or give in. Remember there are many believers here in this forum and on the Internet, too. If you have trusted Christ as your personal Savior, you will never be alone. God bless you.

No its not true. A lot of times, maybe not in this R&S, but in other places, Christians are blending in and never stepping up. If you feel that strongly about the situation you can address the people in the forum/chat/whatever about it. But as long as you are stepping up as a Christian and not allowing non-Christian behavior to pull you down, don't worry too much because I'm sure god will be pleased with you.

Yes. Regardless of how infinitely large the internet is, with literally billions of people online, you are the only Christian.

Hmm, and what has the Internet got to do with God?
Was it "inspired" by him?
Oh, no, it is the result of cold war communications, devised by the U.S. military.
Maybe you need some "God" links!
Or would that not be against your religion to use a tool designed to aid the war machine?

No, there are some folks who also believe, but thankfully the Internet has quite a lot of intelligent and rational people who are prepared to try to help the religious out of their mistaken beliefs.
