Why are scientists and everyone so worried about global warming, and ice bergs melting.?

I am also concerned with our environment needs to be cleaner for everyones general health but why is so many so worried about all the icebergs melting and covering the world in water when God promised us he would not use water to destroy the earth again... This is not the words of human but a Promise from God .I truly beleive in his every promise and all of his promises are indeed promises.

It's the chain reaction it causes. It affects all forms of life, from plankton in the sea which feeds organisms in the coral reefs which feed small fish, which feed large fish. Change the climate and the whole environment dies. The coral reefs ARE dying. The natural habitates of seals, walruses, penguins, fish in cold water, in warm water, all of it. Birds, of all kinds, insects, etc.

The upper and lower hemispheres of the earth are increasingly becoming wetter and wetter with more flooding year after year. The central part of the planet is becoming drier and drier, with freshwater become scarcer and scarcer in the most needed areas which already suffer from dryness and drought.

This is what they say will be the WORST of global warming and will be evident in 20 to 50 years (and it already is) at which time there will be a crisis.

Even if we halt all the pollution and toxins from autos and factories and fossil fuels out there dead in their tracks right now it will NOT BE ENOUGH to REVERSE IT. It will ONLY be enough to stop it.

It will then take years to slowly reverse the process.

That is why it is SO CRUCIAL that everyone be on board with this right now and to take it seriously.

But people don't even know what global warming is and talk like they know everything.

That is why people are concerned with ice bergs melting. If the massive plates of ice should sink into the sea they will melt and the oceans will RISE and they predict they WILL RISE a good 20 feet when that happens it's not a matter of if but WHEN, and eventually it will change the landscape of the planet drowning out places like New York City, Florida, California, put most of the Middle East under water, Asia too. It can and will be catastrophic.

The world won't end with water, it will end of starvation, wild fires (as you can see there is no shortage of those) and the pollution that in itself leaves in our air is nothing (well it is something) to sneeze at.

Tell me who you know that does NOT suffer with breathing problems these days?

Why would anyone want us to use SOLAR POWERED cars and have SOLAR POWERED homes, which by the way will cost us NOTHING. My daughter's teacher has a home her parents built and they live there and they pay NO UTILITIES.

Yes, I can see why the government is PUSHING global warming. Who would want that? And who would be stupid enough to want a car that runs on water, steam, or the sun, when they could pay OIL MONEY and $5.00 a gallon to the government.

The changes that we can see now will become more rapid as moving water helps to melt ice.Someday when we see that happen at a fast rate it will be the point of no return.I`m sure that the earth will survive the changes because there was once a time when Earth was hot and could not support life.If the ice caps melt not only will I own beach front property but there will be no one to enjoy it,we and every plant and animal will be dead.The time it would take to get Earth back to it `s great glory will take longer than we can endure.God did promise not to flood us and if we do it `s our fault and not Gods.I don’t think we will have to worry about it anyway.God will come back to stop those who are destroying the earth and destroy them instead.You can count on that to be his truth.

This is not about what God may or may not do - that's got nothing to do with it - this is something -Man- is doing.

Global warming will not cause a flood that will destroy the earth - It will raise sea-level a lot but it will only cause serious flooding in coastal areas.

That said; this is not a kind of flooding that will go away after 40 days. Once it's here the best estimates are that it will stay for thousands of years - it's more or less a permanent change.

Further problems are caused by Global Warming than just the increased sea level which is only a rise of a few feet. The really huge problems come to the food producing areas of the earth - there we see droughts and crop failures because the climate changes make the environment too hot for growing major food crops. That kind of scale of food shortages will mean billions of people will starve, huge wars over food and worse attrocities than anything you have dreamed in your worst nightmares.

All this because people have polluted the atmosphere with greenhouse gases to such a degree that the planet's climate has been changed, and because they all refuse to take responsibility for their actions.

This is not some judgement of God - it's global murder/suicide by those whose only "god" is money...

Methane, that's a greenhouse gas lots stronger than CO2, trapped below the ice is released into the ambience. additionally, there is way less ice floor to replicate the sunlight's radiation and the blue ocean absorbs warmth, warming the oceans. White (ice) reflects all and blue (water) absorbs. 2) i'm no professional on clothing drying yet i might say a sparkling, heat day the place the humidity is relatively low. If the humidity is low, water from the clothing will evaporate by using fact larger concentrations flow to diminish concentrations. additionally, the hotter it is, the quicker it is going to evaporate by using fact there is greater power while the temperature is larger.

They're not really worried, it's just that they want ignorant people to believe this nonsense so they can get them to accept higher taxes and live lower standards of living so the rich politicians can live higher on the hog than they already do. Best example is to look at the loudest squeaky wheel, Al-gore. He uses 25 times more energy than the average person and then says he'll make up for it by paying for "carbon credits" from a company he owns. Pretty slick, eh?

Besides, the south pole is actually increasing in mass, so the whole global warming stuff is dubious at best. After studying this subject for years, I'm convinced it's a very elaborate hoax.
