I dont go to movies like that. If I do go to a movie and they take the name of my Lord in vain I do walk out. Same with the TV or a VCR . One foul word and off it goes. God deserves our faithfulness because he is faithful . Blessed be the name of the LORD.

!: A blood vessel is a VEIN
2: A wind-thinggy is a VANE
3: I have no god. How could you assume that we all have. There are many atheists here. Thus, so many movies don't mention religion or gods and one must assume that religion is not part of everyday life. Surely that in itself is mocking religion. So fundies should never watch ANY movie at all because everyone in the cast isn't going to church and praying?
Which movie has taken your version of a god in vain/vein/vane?
Lord of the Rings? Harry Potter? Live and Let Die? The Island? Troy?
The list is endless.

What would that accomplish? The theatre, and Hollywood, still has your money. You should demand a full refund, and up it some more for 'emotional trauma'. If they wont' cave to your demands, set yourself on fire out the theatre. Call the news channels first. That theatre will find it hard to live past the stigma of having such a nasty, public suicide on their property. They might get shut down and take their anti-your Gods name here- rhetoric with them. Mail a suicide note to the papers before taking the gasoline bath, so people know what it was all about and dont just think you were just some drunk looney.

There are plenty of websites that offer movie reviews from a Christian perspective -- you should check some of those out BEFORE you go to the theatre.

I'm Norse Heathen. They have comic books for the gods sake. The gods can take care of themselves. I'm there for the movie.

I was in a theater once where a guy stood up and started screaming about the movie being ungodly.
