My family and I hate one set of our cousins, the one that goes to my school has lunch the same time as my friends and i. She sits next to us all the time. I usually sit next my friend and 2 of my other friends from a different class. We have assigned tables to sit at and the only table that we can sit at to be next to each other is the one that she somehow always sits at. A couple of weeks ago people were saying that i look a lot like her. i asked my friends and they said i don't look anything like her. How can i somehow ignore her without her becoming offened and telling the rest of the family. I try not to be mean but sometimes i just come off as such a snot. P.S. My parents don't want me talking to her either. Please help!!!

Our family is also in a feud so we don't like to talk to each other.

To say that you look similar to somebody cannot amount to an insult.Your cousin is equal to any other student in the school and her sitting close to you during lunch is also not an offense. It is duty of parents to ensure that their kids do not suffer from egoism. It is a negative thinking and will not help the child in making friendly relations in future.I do not find that you have any real trouble with your cousin and petty things are bloated out of proportion.

Simple do whatever YOU feel is right...not your parents, not your friends or family...YOU..do what you feel is right not anybody else..because YOU not them have to live with your decision, sleep at night, and look yourself in the mirror...
