I recently purchased an original painting and the only signature is Kelly or Killy. Actually at the front of the painting is Killy but when I turned this huge painting on the back was stamped Continental Art with the name Kelly. It also had other stamps which I assume were stamps from different customs. Can anyone please tell me what Continental Art is? Was this for a group of travelling artists students? Was this in Europe?

Continental is a name for anything that is not from the British Isles. Indeed referring to 'the rest of Europe'. Only used by Britons of course.
