I am a freshman in high school, and there is this kid on my bus, he is a sophomore. We talk a lot, I guess, on the bus. He now says mean stuff to me in a sort of joking way, pushes me a lot and laughs, and certain days we are the only ones on the bus, and he told the bus driver how he has to "put up with me all day" I am not even in his class! Then he told the bus driver to let me off 2 miles away from my house so I could walk home! He always laughs when he says mean stuff, so I never know. Thanks!

This fellow sounds insecure to me. If he still jokes with you like that when you are alone on the bus in front of the driver, I figure he is trying to be the humours macho man. Next time you're alone with him tell him how you feel about his jokes and pushing, or you could reverse it and do the same for him to get his reaction. He probably won't like being the under dog. Ask him to treat you as he would like to be treated. Possibly this fellow is not the friend you need in your life; however, maybe he just needs to be told how you feel and he may be a good friend.

Well being a freshman you are not used to it. I'm sophomore and thats how i guess we play around and poke fun but if you honeslty dont like it than i would seriously be like ok yah stop being an *** and if he says i'm just joking than you will know and maybe poke back but being a freshman i know how it is. Well what u can do also is not talk to him at all and leave him be or brush him off he will eventually ask y u are not talking and than you may want to bring up the subject. If he is a real friend he will understand if not than he is just an *** and dont care about him hes a waste of your time to worry about.. try not to take it offencively

I think this person is insecure and is using you to "build his ego" so to speak.
Try sitting away from him - read a book or use earphones and avoid him. He certainly isn't a friend. If he says something to you just tell him you are tired of his abusive remarks and don't need it.
If he really bothers you don't hesitate to tell the bus driver and or a teacher. He needs an attitude adjustment.

You obviously know the difference between mean, and kidding around. Sounds like you have not said much to this person about how you feel about his antics. Speak up! Ask him what's going on? Let him know you are not happy with his comments and some of them are untrue. Let him know you will not put up with being treated badly. Then find yourself another buddy. Forget about him. He is crude and rude. There is no love in his behavior and you don't have to take it.

He likes you and is showing it in a very juvenile way! He's joking around and playing being mean because he probably doesn't know how else to treat you. Guys can be a bit insensitive sometimes, so hopefully he will lighten up and start being nice, instead of being insensitive. Maybe when he says something insensitive, pretend to be hurt or fire back something insensitive to him. See how he reacts.

i dont think hes kiding and besides if your bus driver lets u get of 2 miles away from your house,hes mean. My bus driver wont even let us get off if your friends r wating for u!

sounds like he is very immature.. im a junior and i hate when guys think its cool pushing girls around or saying stupid stuff like what that guy was saying to you... guys should be gentle and sweet with a girl. i think he's just teasing, but what he says isnt very nice either. if it really gets on your nerves.. sit away from him and ignore him.. or just tell him hes acting immature.. but if you like it.. tease him back i guess. lol.. i hate high school .. maybe cuz im more mature than the rest of the people in my grade.. ughhhh

Honeslty, he's probably got a crush on you!! If he's just as ***, fire back. Be like, "YOU walk home 2 miles!" and playfully push him. It might just be his way of making friends...or girlfriends.
If it gets seriously physical or he gives you ANY unwanted sexual attention, tell a trusted parent. I MEAN IT.
