depends on the type of specialist, the season, and the popularity of the doctor, and the number of options for that community. for example, during the winter you'll probably have to wait up to 6 weeks to see a dermatologist. a dermatologist with good rapport and no competition, your looking at an even bigger wait.

Depends on what the specialist is and where you live. It can be as long as six months. It can be as short as the same day you call. Seriously. The range is that great.
