I have checked the fuse box in the trunk area also under the hood. I can not locate the fuse to light up and see my odometer reading anymore.

there is no fuse for the odometer. if the odometer is the only thing that does not work, you probably need a new instrument cluster. an 06 is still under warranty unless you are out by mileage.

For sure be extra careful and cautious when changing those thermostast bec the bracket or housing is made up of cheap metals and can crack etc. What I do is once I've the housing's bolts out I remove the thermostat and stick a soft clean cloth into the hole , then I remove the hose clamp on the hose and then remove the housing from the house, dry and clean the housing with a cloth, paint scrapper and fine sandpaper, dry and clean the other part of the thermostat housing , remove any particles from the housing , use a small wire brush to clean the bolts head and threads etc, remove the cloth slowly, pop the new thermostat in, take high temperature gasket maker and apply a beed of it in the middle of the outer thermostat housing, then place the housing on and bolt it down so it's firmly tight, watch for the gasket maker to show up on the edges and that will give you a good idea that it's tight enough. Then attache the hose to the housing making sure the housing is clean and dry where hose goes onto it and making sure the house is clean inside too, use a new hose clamp and tighten it up then add anti-freeze to the over flow container and then start it up checking for any leaks and adding coolant as needed , plus if possible once enough coolant mixture added close the over flow cap open the bleeder and drain out any air , check the antifreeze level again once engine is cooled down, start up vehicle from cold start check the heat and for any leaks once warmed up , plus take it for a drive with the heat on and check again for any leaks once you get it home again. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way using high temperature gasket maker is a great way to avoid and imiade leaks or future leaks from occurring.I never use pre-made gaskets when doing thermostats I always use gasket maker it's much easiar and saves a bit of headache and time , plus some money too.

those don't have a fuse for that particular part of it,if it has stopped working like sprinkle said its still under warranty ,take it in and they will replace the odometer or the cluster assembly, don't mess with it though ,because you may void the warranty on it,good luck.
