People who get lost in the wilds drink thier pee to survive. It is well documented that it can be a substitute for water and help you survive when you are dying of thirst. The worst part is getting that taste out of your mouth, though, once you are rescued.

Yes, if you repeatedly drink you own urine you can cause organ failure. Your urine contains waste that your body is trying to expel, including salts. If you keep ingesting salt that the body was trying to get rid of and you don't stay properly hydrated, then eventually you will die.

Actually, if you are ever desperate enough to do so, it can actually be a good survival tool. It won't kill you because it's sterile, and it actually might help you stay hydrated. Only bad thing is that it doesn't taste like chicken.
