I have been feeding a stray cat and noticed that it seems sick, and has blood in it's feces. WHat is wrong with it?

This cat has blood in it's feces, and a sore bum. It seems tired, but has no problem eating and drinking. I have been feeding it for two days. It was also in a couple of fights with some other wild cats.

The right answer, as you see here, is.....get it to a vet ASAP. Blood in feces and sore butt are signs of things that could be serious. Impacted anus, parasites in the intestines, something that got hurt in the cat fights. Just to be on the safe side, if you care about this animal, get it to the vet.! Good luck......................

If you're able, get him to the vet. It could be a lot of things and he needs some immediate medical attention. Blood in the feces and lethargy are serious.

He probably has hook worm, if you can't get to a vet, go to a feed store, and ask them what to use. We always worm our dogs and cats ourselves.

sounds like hook worms. I think if you can, to take the kitty to an animal clinic and also get it fixed if it's well enough.
