i am a guy so hear it goes. ummmmm well it really depends on the way you let him down. was it harsh or nice? i would just give him the acasional hello may b a little chatting just dont bring up the whole rejection subject.

if the guy's an ****** than yah but if he's not then no, he might
feel really hurt but he won't treat you like crap

well there was a guy who was obsessed with me but i didnt like him very much. he followed me around, sent me corny love notes and caled me nonstop. finally i told him to bak off. He ws really upset for awhile then he got over it and now we are friends

unless they really wanted you and cared then they won't, but if they've been shot down too many times they might get a little cranky, in this case i don't think so

it depends on how you do it....they are hurt...but who doesnt get hurt when somebody gets rejected.
