I don't know if there are some organizations I can work with or if I can do it myself. I'd like to give some soldier a Christmas card, try and make the holidays a little easier.

they wrote me while i was in Iraq. they even have a branch called soldiers pet's angels and they watched my dog while i was away. they are very active in writing letters and sending gifts. it is all volunteer work. they are great people

here are a few places to start with, share them with family and friends as well, the soldiers love to get mail year-round. you can also get in touch with your local FRG at your local base or National Guard Unit and they will be glad to help you with this as well!

if you look on myspace..there are a ton of them out there. i just signed my husband up for a bunch of them so that he can get cards and stuff for christmas while hes gone.
