How would warmers scam money from people when the climate cooled off?
By telling you that normal or cooler warming is caused by warming, they got all bases covered. No matter what happens, it's all your fault!

Yes ,again Bobs' got it goin' on! There's one more interesting scenario that takes what Bob says a step further. With increased warming of the oceans will mean more water vapor in the atmosphere. That extra water vapor will change the precipitation amounts causing extremes in rain, and snow, depending on the seasons. An extreme snow event could trigger a beginning of an ice sheet, when snowfall accumulates without melting off. How would Detroit or Chicago deal with 10-15 ft. of snow in a short time? Wouldn't be fun, that's for sure. The other extreme would be drought! The changes in precipitation would also divert rain from wide areas, even now we see the record breaking drought in the South East U.S. It's the extremes that'll signal the scope of climate change.

Worldwide, it can't. But it can cause LOCAL cooling.
The main way is that arctic and Greenland ice melts, diluting salt water and messing up the ocean currents that keep Europe warm.
Google ocean conveyor europe warm for lots more.
The most recent data says that this is very unlikely and that it will likely just reduce the speed of global warming in Europe a bit.
EDIT: Albatros39A - This is a pretty good article about that:

Here's a news article:

There's more in the IPCC report, but I don't know exactly where.

It will not happen unless the sun stops shining or the atmosphere disappears.

Yes, that is how it works. Do a search for "geologic time scale" temperature
