In about 5 years they may be a dominant force, but I don't see them ever overpowering the field. NASCAR doesn't allow one manufacturer to do that. You may have some that do better than others, but NASCAR always keeps the competition leveled out.

There is no doubt they have the horse power. Now that they will have premier talent behind the wheel and in the garage I think they will be a leading force by the mid part of the year. Toyota is dominating most every motor sport they are involved in. I know many fans do not like the idea of a foreign manufacturer being involved with NASCAR, but it's inevitable and unavoidable to deny the financial contribution they bring to the sport.

I don't. They may win a race or 2 since Joe Gibbs will have them, but I see Chevy dominating again with Childress and HMS. Ford will be stronger than Toyota because Roush has some great drivers. I think it will be Chevy, then Ford, and Dodge and Toyota vying for the bottom.

Don't look for an overpowering of NASCAR but look for some closer racing with the Toyotas for 2008.

I think Toyota will be better then they were this year but I don't see Toyota being compettive with Chevy,Ford,Dodge till about the 2009 season.. The drivers and teams I think still need time to get used to the cars

Not right now. Toyota still has alot of growing to do. Give them a few years and they will be like the Craftsman truck series competing for wins. Gibbs racing will give Toyota a good shot in the arm.

They're starting to get the hang of it, but I don't think there will be any overpowering. I think JGR's Brat Pack will make a pretty good showing next year, as well as BDR and Red Bull. They still weren't quite up to snuff by the end of the season, but there will be plenty of tech research done during the off season.

I don't think so. NASCAR tweaks the rules all the time to make sure all the engines have similar power. Back with the old car they did it with the bodies and spoilers too.
Its in their best interest to keep things fairly even although its not uncommon for 1 manufacturer to be better for a season or 2 before they get things evened out again.
