There has been a consistant Hebrew presense in Israel for thousands of years.

Palestinians didnt exist until Arafat coined the name for political purposes.
Prior to that--the word Palestine or Palestinian refered to anyone who lived in Israel--Jew or Arab.

With the exception of a few Jewish towns and arab no-mads--Israel lay in ruines. During the 1800's it was a malaria ridden swamp--a waste land.

The revised history that states a Palestinian presense going back a thousand yrs is false. There is not one leader or goverment to be found. No capital--nothing.

It is not so much that the Palestinians care so much for the land but that they want NO Jews anywhere in the middle east.

As stated above, the Palestinians have been in Israel long before the Jews claimed it was theirs.
I have been to Israel and seen first hand how the Palestinians are treated. I have seen the home of a Palestinian friend that was taken over by the Jews. The home had been lived in by the same family for 100's of year's, one day the Jewish military walked in an said..you don't live here any more..that's it. They were forced to leave with the clothes on their back. Then they moved to Jordan..not their home either.
Imagine living for your entire life in one place, only to be treated this way.
In my opinion, Israel belongs to the Palestinians, it's their ancestral land.

you're one hundred% top. to boot to the very incontrovertible reality that Palestinians do not care about humanity, the Israelis purely attack in self-protection, anyhow. even as the Israelis attack the Palestinians, it truly is consistently justifiable. even as the Palestinians attack the Israelis, it truly is because their ruthless nutjobs.

I find this question relevant to the situation. Muslims keep saying they lived there and it's their home.
In fact when they had the land it was near empty and nobody was interested in doing anything with it. Let's face facts. The Jews turned the land into a livable area out of nothing.
Muslims talk like the Jews went all through the land like wolves destroying palaces. In fact any Muslim with any money was looking for greener pastures.
The Jews have made wonderful technological advances in water treatment, would the Muslims use them if they got them? Or tear them down like the did the hothouses in Gaza, saying they are unclean?
History is built on the stronger taking land from the weaker and holding it by force as the Ottomans did for so long. I don't hear Turkey crying give our land back.
How many educated rich Muslims live in Gaza? Seems most are living in Egypt or are training in Iran.

Because the Palestinians lived in Israel before 1948. Then the UN gave the Jews half of the country but they acted greedy and occupied the other half. The Palestinian have technically half of the country. Of course they care about it. Also as for the Palestinians immigrating to the neighbouring (Called Arabic not Muslim because not all palestinians are muslims and not all muslim countries are arabic) You don't know how the Arabs treat the Palestinians in their countries. They treat them as animals so the Palestinians want to stay in THEIR country.

It would be foolish to say that the Palestinians do not have a connection to the Land of Israel.

Many have ancestors that have lived there for hundreds of years, and even those that recently immigrated are in the same boat with the Jews.

Unfortunately history has shown that a Jewish/Arab state in the Land will not work.

If the Jews want the Jewish state to encompass all the biblical heartland (Israel+ West Bank) then they need to do it in a humane way.

One way of doing that is by offering voluntary financial compensation to Palestinian families and make arrangements with other nations to accept them.

Those that wish to say should be integrated into Israeli society.

I personally think this is the best approach to the current situation.

looks like I have been able to insult both sides. My work here is done!

The Arabs only care about Israel because of what the Jews have created there. The Arabs want it.

because Israel, although rightfully belongs to the Jews, was the previous land of the palestinians, and they want it back, big deal just go to jordan or syria.
