I love all the screeching at the Catholics that they have man-made laws so I suppose we have a man-made idea right here that should be examined. If you're going to attack Catholics for following the teaching of men then I guess you must acknowledge that the 'rapture' is man-made as well.

Or a misinterpatation of the scriptures.
Matthew 24: 21,22Â for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22Â In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.
If the chosen ones were raptured out why would it make a difference.
(Psalm 37:9-11) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. 10Â And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11Â But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
(Proverbs 2:21-22) 21Â For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. 22Â As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.

Paul talks bout the rapture, and its actually called, being 'caught up' in the NT.
Christ when he returns is taking his fold with him, before the real chaos begins.
Like any parent, he will be rescuing his flock.
Look at Pauls books in the NT. You will find that Paul hated Christians at first, and was on the task of murdering them, for Rome...read too on his turnaround.

Have you ever actually read the Bible and the passages that support the doctrine?
If the passages in I Thessalonians Chapter 4 and I Corinthians Chapter 15 are not talking about what is commonly referred to as "the Rapture", then perhaps you could explain what they are talking about?

The rapture is not written about in the Bible. It is in one of the apocryphal texts that someone somewhere at sometime decided was not to be put in the Bible as we know it. But, how can something like the rapture be of Satan?

The rapture will happen. The only question is when? Some say pre-trib, some say post-trib.

No, Satan does not exist.
The rapture is a belief that people have been mislead to by various 19th century evangelical American preachers.

Some seem to think so.
I wonder what Paul meant by "catching away"? I wonder what that would translate to -in Latin? Hmmm.....you never know.

I think it was something thought up by fanatical Evangelicals in the early part of the 19th century. They may have had too much of the Demon rum, so–perhaps. (((JMD)))
