How do I get my female papered and how do I get my males papers when previous owners lost them. I would like to do this due to them having puppies and would like to find out how they can get papered as well.

The lost papers are the oldest story in the book by bogus breeders. Breeders do not "lose" the papers and they can always get replacements from the registry. The litter has to be registered by the breeder or you can't get papers (unless you go to a bogus puppy mill registry like CKC).

With no guarantee of bloodlines and no genetic testing, your dogs should not be bred.

You can't. In order for a dog to have papers, they need to have a pedigree that lists dams and sires for several generations as well as all of those dogs having to have been registered. Since your female never had any of this paperwork to begin with you CAN NOT get her papered. It just isn't possible (unless you register her with one of the scam registries that would register a pet rock...but then her "papers" wouldn't even be worth the paper they're written on).

As for your male, if he has a microchip or tattoo and you know what registry he was registered with there is a chance that you might be able to call the registy with those numbers and get his papers. Also, if you're planning on breeding this dog then you *should* have purchased him from a reputable breeder. If that were the case, you could simply call the breeder and ask them how to go about getting a copy of the lost papers. If he isn't chipped or tattooed and/or you don't know what registry he was registered with, it'll be the same story as with your female. You will NOT be able to get him papered or get replacement papers.

In short, there is absolutely no way that any puppies these two dogs produce can be papered. And without registry papers from a reputable registry AND confirmation and performance titles on the parents those puppies will not be worth any more than any hienz 57 mutt off the street. Spay and neuter these dogs and if you're still interested in breeding get some quality stock from a reputable breeder who will be willing to mentor you.

You are **** out of luck getting your female papers if she never had them at all. If your male had them, you would need his AKC registration number to contact the AKC, but the AKC doesn't recognize "Full-blooded pits" only Amstaffs and staffordshire bull terriers. The UKC recognizes APBT

There is absolutely no possible way for you to get papers for the puppies if you don't have papers for both parents.

Good luck finding them homes. Pit bulls puppies without papers aren't financially worth anything and can be tough to find homes for; thats why so many end up killed at shelters.

Yes - bogus breeders use the "i lost my paperwork" bullsh*t. If either are truly registered - all they need to do is make a call.

You shouldn't be breeding when there are so many out there dying. Please think about it. If she is already prego - shame on you.

if your dog did not come registered, you cannot get papers, they either have them or they don't, and if the mother is not registered the puppies are not either, reguardless of the father
