why does no one speak of Jesus as a bastard child ?

Because he wasn't...a bastard is a child born to a mother that isn't married...Mary was married to Joseph when Jesus was born.

Remember an Angel came to Joseph in a dream and told the truth about Mary condition and that it was a holy thing she was carrying not a bastard because it was not conceived in sin.
