There are two rail routes from Birmingham to London:
Virgin from Birmingham New Street to London Euston every 30 minutes journey time 92 minutes. Chiltern Railways from Birmingham Moor Street/Snow Hill to London Marylebone every 30 minutes takes 2 hours 15 minutes. The slower Chiltern Route has much cheaper tickets even if you have not booked in advance, but if you are able to book ahead and specify what time you are travelling there will be bargains on Virgin too. virgin.com/trains www.chilternrailways.co.uk
From Marylebone or Euston take the Underground to Earls Court.
