Sounds like you need a boxer!! =D I have a boxer and he is an amazing dog. They are great with kids, and they are very high energy so they love going for walks, runs, etc. They are fun to be around, they are funny, they have great personalities and they are big lovers!! If you get a boxer you will not regret it!! :)

I would go with a lab or golden ( they are known as babysitters with dog people and trainers) they are great with kids easy to train even a mutt (mix of one of theses) would be great. do your reseach on the web with any breed you are concidering on getting. Also stay away from pugs, dalmatians, collies and small breeds even though Disney has shown them to be good with kids they can be a bit nippy and aggastive too but that is not to say they all can be I have known pleanty of these breeds to be great with kids too. Your working dog breeds will need aloy of work because if not worked (walked) well they can under up destoring things around the house out of bordom. Also any dog can be a good dog it is all about the training and how your household treats them. I have had chow chows to pitties that have all been loveable and carefree you just need to love and work with them Also if you are looking for a puppy check out your local shealters too. Allot of people think you only find problem dogs there but this is untrue. Yes some of them may need more work but if you keep on checking you will find a puppy. My last dog I adopted was Odie and he was only 9 weeks old when I found him. good luck

I live in a 1100 sq. ft. apartment and I have a puggle (pug/beagle). He is the PERFECT dog for small spaces and is very friendly and smart. you can visit www.puggle.org to find out more about this hybrid breed. I have been very pleased with my dog. He is playful but not destructive and is very friendly with people, including small children. Good luck.

We have a Bassett hound and they are the best family dog. They are very sweet, love attention, dont bark much, and are up for doing whatever youre doing. They love kids and are a healthy breed.

NEWFOUNDLANDS!! These dogs are amazing with kids because the are very calm and smart. But they shed. They are huge but eat less than a lab or golden really. St. Bernards are great too!

Like I said in my last answer to your last question -- get a stuffed animal. You don't need to have a dog because you won't take care of it.
