Buddhists don't serve any God. In Buddhism, the world is created by complex law of causation, including karmic effect. It is not created by any supreme beings. All sentient beings are also affected by their own past action (karmic effect), and are not 'looked upon and decided' by any supreme beings.

Buddhists do recognize the existence of heavenly beings. They have their own world, and we have our own world. Yet, we are equal in the view of reincarnation because a human could re-born in heaven, and a heavenly-being could re-born as human. It is not a Master-Slave relationship.

Although some forms of Buddhism believe in "gods" and celestial beings such as heavenly Buddhas and Boddhisatvas, Buddhism nevertheless is an atheistic religion. It does not believe in a supreme god. The historic Buddha was a person who became "enlightened and gave teaching for others to follow so that they could become enlightened as well. Buddhism as well as Hinduism needs to be understood in their own context and terms. You can't understand these systems by comparing them with Judeo-Christian terms. The way certain terms are interpreted are different.

Buddha is not a god.

There are gods in Buddhist cosmology, none of them have anything to do with the Buddhist path. Like the Greek gods and fate, the gods of Buddhism are subject to the same laws as us, and can do nothing to help us extirpate ourselves.

In Mahayana Buddhism, Buddha is a divine being who rules Nirvana; God is a supreme ruler of heaven. However, we do not serve anyone; we only need to train our self to be a better person in life.

This largely depends upon the sect of Buddhism you are talking about. In all sects, Buddha is not a god, rather, the founder of the religion.

I'll talk about general Buddhism. All true Buddhists follow the Tibetan Book of the dead. Any sects that do not are not technically Buddhist, and fall more under the classification of Confucianism then anything. There are 43 peaceful deities alone in Buddhism, and at least 100 others (I cannot remember the other numbers and have misplaced my Tibetan Book of the Dead.)

No Gods. They follow the teachings of Buddha and respect him greatly, but they do not worship him.
