None of these things suggest that God does not care about us because he does. You have your beliefs and I have mine. It pains God when things hurt us, but we are not under his will. Everything that is happening is fulfilling the Bible. Read it and you will understand. Plus I don't think cyclone death toll and Lindsay Lohan are even in the same category.

Honestly, I believe in God, or at least I'd like to. I'm an idealist, and a believer and at heart want to be a great person. In my heart and soul, I don't think it's fair that people died in that cyclone, I don't like war, I don't like machine guns and I don't like the war in Iraq, I also very greatly dislike Lindsay and it's completely unfair that she has a Hollywood career let alone is back out there.
If there was a God, I sometimes ask and pray, WHY, WHY are these ungodly things and horrid people allowed to flourish while we have to go on, and sometimes experience extreme hardship.
In all reality it's unfair and makes me feel that ALL OF THOSE reasons suggest that God indeed does NOT care about us. It's easy to think that way.
However, if a person like you can realize that all these things are ungodly, and a person like me can realize it, and we actually have hearts and souls, then there has to be SOMETHING out there, or in us, that is more of a "godly" nature, whether it be intellect, or whatever you want to blame it on.
Despite all of the reasons why this world seems horrid,
I want to believe,
and I want things to be right.
even if they aren't and never will be.
So that alone says right there that even if God doesn't seem to be present in this world,
I hope he or it or whatever is present in me,
because I have a sense of right/wrong.
I feel, I think, and I just know.
Perhaps God is within us, and NOT out there in the world.

Natural disasters are...natural....the war is still going..if you research..every time the US has a sluggish economy we go
send our men over there..and when at war more products need made for the soldiers etc. Lindsay Lohan won't be on the streets for long......Now, I truly believe in God. I lost my grand son; died in my arms 45min after birth...When my daughter got pg again..she set up the crib..ironed the sheets..and ever morning there were little creases in those sheets. My grandson..waiting for his sister?????????

D: you just dont get it. God doesnt care about you and me. He cares about Thais because they are the nicest people on earth and most peaceful. The only reason the tsunami happened in Thailand was because evil from the outside world was growing at that time from 9/11 and iraq and all the bad things happening so it washed up on to the shores of the pure country. Move to Thailand if your going to complain about god not caring and see how much he will care for you then.

(D) He has never shown that he cared. Horrible things happen all the time. Why are children born with aids? What is the purpose of a women being forced into being a sex slave in certain third world countries?
Why does he let millions die of aids and cancer? Why when a girl says she believes in god, god lets her get shot by a school shooter and let the one who says she is a non-believer live?
