What would bother me is finding out my child's teacher had a low credit score. I want to see some responsible decision making and the ability to future plan in the people who are teaching my kids.

My daughter's 3rd grade teacher was gay and had 2 adopted kids with his partner. He was a good teacher so who cares.

I just can't believe in this day and age that anyone who knows just a little of the literature on homosexual behavior would really give a cr*p. I would, however, be concerned about that teacher's educational credentials (like I would be for any of my kids' teachers).

Horror of horrors! I have discovered that the male teacher teaching my daughter is heterosexual. Obviously all heterosexuals are sexually interested in female children just as all homosexuals are sexually interested in male children. Codswallop!
The sexual orientation of a teacher or anyone else is completely irrelevant. The laws about interfering with children apply without discrimination to everyone. Male homosexuals are no more likely to be interested in children than male heterosexuals. What teachers do away from school is their business, not mine. I am far more interested in their ability to teach my children than I am in who they are sleeping with.

No problem, my child teacher is a whore but when shes teaching shes the best in the school and has been awarded many times. Shes not teaching whore ship!!!!!!!!!!! Her private life is hers not mine.

I'm more interested that my kids have qualified teachers with plenty of patience. Their sex lives are personal and of no importance at all.

Vaguely interested, possibly. Entirely apathetic, probably.
It's as illogical to be afraid of letting a gay man teach my son as it would to be afraid of letting a straight man teach my daughter.
