I'm 13. Is this a good rig for my bedroom?

Bose is a bit over-priced and usually does not have many inputs to connect CATV box, xBox, PS3, etc.
You would be much better off finding a HTIB (Home Theater in a Box) that has a full 5.1 receiver with lots of extra inputs. Yamaha makes some in the $400 range. Plus you can upgrade the parts as you wish - something Bose does not give you.
The TV is a bit pricey compared to some I am seeing at the start of the Christmas sales. I would rather see you buy a Vizio, Sharp, Sony or Samsung LCD - companies that are better known for TV's than Westinghouse.
