The Bible says nothing about life on other planets..It won't effect it at all. No where does the Bible say God did not make life on mars, or only on Earth. God made the Universe..all the universes..I can't help but think there are many worlds with life on them.

They have to find life on mars. That's their latest explanation as to how life got here. Scientists for years have been mixing chemicals together, electrocuting wet rocks, and heating up proteins trying to create life. They have finally conceded that even the simplest single celled animal is way to complex for it to just appear. Now, they are trying to say that life didn't start here, it started on mars. Then mars was hit by a meteor and was carried to Earth. If that doesn't pan out, I'm sure they'll all agree that life started someplace else, then placed in a comet, then the comet hit Earth, the VOILA!! there was life on Earth and there is no way to prove otherwise.

If life was discovered on Mars, it wouldn't really impact my religion (though I don't about all religion in general) because The Bible said that God created the Earth and then put life on it. It never said He didn't put life anywhere else.

no longer a lot, i trust, a minimum of no longer as an total. some branches or sects would type of fail, because it truly is got here across that there are diverse techniques of doing issues that artwork etc. some religions would thrive. some new whackjob cults are probable to start up, and some human beings would change into adherents of alien religions. in addition, some extraterrestrial beings would change into adherents of human religions. yet countless religions will basically save doing an similar issues they have consistently achieved.

"Religion" is a very broad term.
re·li·gion – noun
1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
Therefore "RELIGION" does NOT say that god made humans or life on earth.
Did you want to specify a particular religion?

Like a bomb, they couldn't cope with Galileo's idea that the Earth went around the Sun. I feel many religions are hardly coping with the universe as revealed by observation and science, any more information and some are going to implode!!

It also does not say he didn't. Personally, I believe that it is pretty self centered of us to believe that God created life on earth, and left the other planets alone. It won't rock my faith one bit. I mean heck, how do you know that the life on that planet does not believe in God? If we don't know that their is life there, then we don't know what they believe in if they are their.
Also, we don't know what that life consists of. Just saying life, could mean a whole host of things. It does not mean humans, or animals as we know them, or little green men that like to anal probe farmers. It could be something as small and seemingly unimportant as a mold or fungus. Just saying their is life there is pretty open ended. Many scientists are just looking for the evidence of anything. Plant, animal, spore, mold, fungus, etc.

Well, I recently watched a DVD from Answersingenesis.org - "CREATION ASTRONOMY"
It explains WHY there will be NO life discovered on ANY OTHER PLANET in our Galaxy.
We can only guess about the Universe! That is something only God knows!

Of course, we (earth) will have to invade Mars to convert the natives and take control of the natural resources there.
It's only natural.
