SIMPLE SHRIMP TO DIE FOR
1 1/2 lb medium/large shrimp (31-35 per lb)
3 cups cooked long grain rice (no instant or boil in bag!)
3/4 to 1 stick butter (no substitutions)
Mrs. Dash seasoning - original
1 small or 1/2 large lemon
Peel and wash shrimp. Drain/chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Melt butter in large saute/fry pan on high heat. Add shrimp, sprinkle Mrs. Dash over shrimp and toss until the shrimp are pink. Do not overcook.
Squeeze lemon over shrimp - toss again. Toss in rice - mix well and serve.
Great with a Caesar salad and cheese toast.

You already have a recipe similar to this but it is good and I believe the sauce would come out better with this one:
SHRIMP FETTUCCINE
Cook your fettuccine noodles for exactly 10 minutes and drain. Melt butter in a pan (about 1/3 cube). Once it's melted, add cream (about 1/2 cup) and stir well. Sprinkle it with garlic powder and stir. Add grated Parmesan cheese (not from the green can) - about 1/4 + cup (meaning a little more than 1/4 cup), the raw peeled shrimp (whole if they are small and cut in half if large), and the noodles. Stir and cook until the shrimp turns pink (it will only take about 2-3 minutes for the shrimp to turn pink). Done!! If it gets too thick, add some more cream.

From one small town redneck to another (my town population =14)
I buy the de-vained peel and eat shrimp and in my town you can only get frozen seafood. Unfortunately nothing fresh. Although the Schwann's man has the best frozen shrimp I've ever found, and he delivers to my door.
Pour 1 beer (doesn't matter which brand) in to a pan and bring to a light boil.
with heat still on, add the frozen shrimp and cook until beer comes to a light boil again then boil one additional minute.
Drain off the beer,
Melt some butter in a small cup for dipping your shrimp in.
Presto, instant easy and great tasting shrimp.
You can use the left over beer and pour it back in the beer can, then stick it up the rear end of a cleaned and ready to cook whole fryer chicken. Cook the chicken so it is sitting on its butt with the can of beer up inside the chicken. do this on your out door grill. As the chicken cooks the beer boils in the can and as the beer steam escapes from the can it keeps the chicken nice and moist, plus you get a slight seafood flavor in the chicken. Turns out real tasty.
