I train 5 days a week to, and the best thing is a good diet and plenty of water. Make sure you get sufficient rest at night and don't overdo your training. By taking supplements you are just making your body used to them. Even an energy drink can become addictive.

The best thing I can tell you is eat healthy, plenty of protein to build the muscle you are trying to build and plenty of whole wheat carbs to provide the energy you are looking for. Fruits and veggies to provide the nutrients your body needs to function properly.

Taking some drinks like this before exercise means youre just burning off the drink and not making any overall difference. Before you go you should have slow energy releasing carbs (I take it you eat meals) and take a bottle of water with you. Your waistline and your dentist will both be v thankful.

A banana and chocolate milk. They work great for me. I work out 4 times per week. I eat a banana every morning and when I work out I add chocolate milk 30 min before I work out. Please stay away from energy drinks and steroids. Energy drinks are loaded with caffenne and they make your heart rate go way up. NO GOOD. And steroids, there are so many side effects.

i either make a protein shake before, and drink alot of water throughout the day, or take a energy drink. also you can try creatine which helps your stamina by helping your muscles hold more water, so you will be able to work out more often and harder.

Nothing at all, I work out on an empty stomach. I work out for about 1.5 hrs. five or six days a week and I never eat first. I was told years ago that exercise on an empty stomach forces our bodies to use fat and toxins as fuel...it is more difficult but works for me.
