Ok, I am not an idiot lets get that stright right now. I was looking at pictures from 2005 and noticed how much thinner they were. I have been on first shift now for a little over a year. Before that my husband was cooking for the kids for oh about 5 years. Now granted I know they grow and all that. But I can see it around there faces and necks and arms...ect. Now I know that it didn't happen overnight. But, when the kids don't like healthy food what do you do??? I force them all to go outside and play. I go out with them even from time to time. But, I am a busy Mom and have so much to do. If there is a web site or book or something that will help me shape up my family with the growing pant sizes please let me know.

you are the adult, you are obligated to provide your children the healthiest food possible. you need to take charge over their diet s and eating habits. children don't know what's good for them so it's up to you to make the right decisions for them. good and bad habits start in the home so you need to lead by example.

when I was growing up my sister and I ate what my parents ate for diner and any other meals. this was usually chicken, beef, pork, etc. some vegetables and a salad sometimes some rice or yams. you should not be cooking special meals just for your children. if they don't like to eat healthy foods they can go to bed hungry and after a couple of days they will eat it. cooking and eating healthy doesn't have to be a hassle it just has to be incorporated into the lifestyle.

Before you decide to make your kids lose weight, you should see the doctor. If he says that their weight is fine that leave it the way it is. If he says that they are overweight then it's time to take some action. Sign your kids up for some activities. I do gymnastics and ballet and i weigh 80 lbs. I used to weigh 95. Going outside is not really enough to kepp yourself fit. You have to have a healthy routine and keep that routine. Good luck with your kids.

Well, try eliminating sweets completely, like don't allow them to eat them, ever. This includes candy, sodas, high sugar juices, fatty fried foods, donuts, etc. Unless they are eating all the time it probably isn't necessary to cut food from their diet, just correct what they are currently eating and make it healthier. Also make sure they are active, sports, personal fitness, etc.
