Actually the test results weren't wrong or inaccurate, it was our interpretation that was flawed. We use about 10% at any given time. So when people made that assumption they thought, oh we only use 10% of our mind? Yes, in normal situtations. This 'urban legend' is just so popular it still is spread around like it's fact. It's what makes people ponder what human limitations could be pushed to if we used all of it. Don't insult someone because they haven't been corrected, it still hasn't circulated. Either that or people just don't do the linking. Our brain is divided into sections, each with it's own purpose... we only use 10%.. yet each part is used.. hmmm.. you just don't think to link the two.

He gave us this incredible brain because he fully intends for us to use it forever.

That is what we will do when paradise is restored to earth and people live eternally. See John 17:3 and Matthew 5:5.

By the way, we use 100% of our brain. We just do not use the 100% to its full capacity.

We use all of it. Some for memory, personality, so we can live, ect. We only use 10% to think, and some is a reality blocker. Otherwise we'd be in awe of everything in nature all the time. I'm making a connection to Small Gods by Terry Pratchett.

This is a complete myth, we use all of our brain. In the early days of medical science, our instruments were not as sensitive, so they mistakenly thought that less of the brain was used.

Since we can and do use our whole brain, we can evalute the evidence for god and realize that there is none.

Actually, that 10% is only the conscious part, the rest is subconscious and we do use it when we are asleep for example. It should be one of our goals to be able to unite both sides and get the most out of them. It's in the other 90% that psychic abilities reside.

Actually, the notion that we use less than 10% of our brains is urban legend.

Mankind was created to use his entire brain but sin changed the outcome temporarily. Soon, we will again be restored to perfection and we will again be capable of using it all--Won't that be wonderful??

I've learned that God has a great sense of humor. Why did he give racoons masks? Why did he give women only men to marry?? Why is it that I'm the only one who can hear the voices in my head???

Just think about it... GREAT sense of humor!!!!

God has nothing to do with it.

We are at a certain stage in our evolution....who knows, as we evolve, we may need the other 90%. Nature doesn't make any mistakes.
