Praise and worship can be loud and boisterous. Have you ever been to a mainly black church? Regardless of the denomination, they're happy places full of singing and clapping, dancing and joy. If I were to attend church, that's the type I'd seek out.

***Your girl's just fine, baby.

Most preachers do not "scream their head off," and apparently, you have never been to a joyful service. They do exist, and they are very cool.

Praise and worship at the church I go to IS loud. The preacher is quiet, though.

You would never be bored at Grace Community Church.

Praise and worship can be loud. Try a different church. Loud is okay, just not to the point that your ears become damaged.

I understand why you ask this. It has become the Practice of many RELIGIONS , RELIGIOUS DENOMINATIONS. to try to make church and worship a ritual instead of a celebration. The scripture says enter into my gates with praise and my courts with thanksgiving. We are also told that David Danced before the Lord. We also find reference to sounding the Showfar, making a joyful NOISE, and rejoicing in our salvation. When people go to sports events and their team is winning they jump and shout and clap their hands, They are called fans, when we as christians go to church and we sing and clap and jump and cheer or winning team JESUS.GOD AND tHE HOLY SPIRIT, they call us fanitics. I guess the only difference is who you are cheering for. Find a church where warship and praise of God and the lifting up of Jesus is is't #1 goal, where taking God's love to the world, and extending his love to ALL people and not judgeing others.

I learned to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, and since he didn't see fit to give me a pleasant singing voice, he just gets loud from me.

Try one of the churches in the heights or Inkster. They're loud.
