Is he registered? Is he a show cat? I mean...with so many unwanted animals out there...do you already have buyers who are interested in the kittens? Personally...I wouldn't breed him...I'd leave it to the proffessionals. I have 2 purebred, papered siamese that I bought from a lady who owned and showed their parents....both boys from the same litter and both nuetered since they were 6 months old. I did this because there are too many unwanted cats out there in the world...go to the pound and you will see, look in the classified ads and you will see all the kitty's in there.

Call around town to the different vets, and ask for references. They will know if anyone has a registered female that they want to breed. If you don't want to OWN the female in question (so you don't buy one), then be prepared to take your male to a "neutral" space to have him breed. My experience w/this is......raise your own "mate" for your male. It will take a little longer, before you have kittens, but at least then your cats know each other and you will know the "history" of the female in question. Good luck.........

First make sure its NOT spayed or neutered.
Let ur cat meet with another female cat (Its better if u buy one). Let them spend time together and they breed. This is very risky 4 the female, because she MIGHT get cancer.
