I love the stuff and eat it in its simplest form - push it out into my mouth.

Has anyone come up with another way of eating this tasty veggie?

I usually just eat them as-is, steamed, lightly salted, out of the pod. You can also mash 'em up with some chopped veggies and mayo for sandwiches (think of them as a tuna substitute).

If pod is fresh, then steam them. Eat them whole. You might try a touch of sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on them for flavor enhancement.

Cant say I love them as I am a meat eater and not much on veggies and my mother would and still tries with no luck.

You know I am a supporter of global warming and drive gas hogs and must keep the red meat in style so they emit more carbon then we do with their flatulence.

Just eat them, they're good for you. Who eats the pods? They're probably wicked fibre intake.
