What is the best way to crush Starlight mint candies for a recipe?

I have tried a coffee grinder, but it makes a terrible noise. I'm afraid I will break it!

i would probably put them in a freezer bag and hit them with a hammer if you have no food precessor........

The plastic bag/rolling pin thing works the best. Double bag it, then put a towel over that. Those things get sharp when you crush them, and tend to poke through a single bag.
