MY son just loves John Wayne...he even visited his museum...and he asked someone there why he called everyone
"Pilgrim" ....its seems Duke had a hard time remembering names...so he just called
them Pilgrim when he forgot...funny huh?!?
EDIT: ALSO he walked the way he did because one of his legs was shorter than the other thanks to a leg that was broken when he was a child that didn't heal right...
