mine too when i got a new place, the first few nights i just let her sleep with me, then i made her a nice little 'nesting area' under one of the chairs, she loves her nest and finally shut up, i think she just needed to get used to the new place - give yer kitty time ;) eventually it'll QQ and get used to things ;)

It could be that s/he doesn't like the smells in the new place, or is hearing something that you CAN'T hear, and that's bothering her/him. You might try playing with her for awhile before going to bed, then giving her a toy to snuggle with, and maybe a radio on low, in case it's the "sound" thing. A lot of cats do this, so you just have to try different things, til something works. Is your bedroom "available" to the cat? If not, it could just be that it's lonely. Good luck........

Try leaving a radio or the tv on low volume to give the cat a background noise. This sometimes helps a lot.

My cat did that. Our problem was, she never st oped. It's been 3 years and she STILL does it. We found out she was nocturnal. So we played with her and wore her out in the day so she'd sleep at night
