what do you think ALLAH meant by HIS answer?

As per a HADITH of PROPHET MUHAMMAD(P.B.U.H) narrated by one of HIS (P.B.U.H) companions, "After creating PROPHET ADAM(P.B.U.H), ALLAH stroked HIS(P.B.U.H) back. So all the souls that were due to be born in HIS(P.B.U.H) progeny until the DAY OF JUDGEMENT, came out of HIS (P.B.U.H) back. PROPHET ADAM(P.B.U.H) asked: 'O LORD! who are they?' ALLAH replied: 'Your Progeny.' PROPHET ADAM(P.B.U.H) found in them poor as well as wealthy, some looked healthy while some looked sick, some looked happy while some looked sad. HE(P.B.U.H) was seeing them in the conditions they would be living under on their life on earth. PROPHET ADAM(P.B.U.H) then said 'OH ALLAH! If you could have made them alike and similar?" To this ALLAH replied 'I LIKED TO BE THANKED'.

Please rectify your facts before you comment on any religion, especially if it is the second most followed in the world. Are you telling me all of them are jerks?.. Well, then you have better reasons to tell this to those who worship GOD through a medium of statues as well as those who acknowledge GOD and in the same breath appoint sons for HIM. Worst of all, alledge him to be crucified, challenging the OMNISCIENCE and ALL POWERFUL image of GOD. No offences to you, just a response to what I thought as a piece of bilge in your answer

I think Allah spoke that Allah like to be thanked,means that we should thank and praise to Allah by saying alhamdulillah hirobbil alamien.All thanks should be to Allah because Allah has given us all happiness and delicacies.We should remind Allah everytime and everywhere.If we feel sad we should be
patient and try hard to overcome it and pay a prayer to Allah
to give us its solution..Everything will not occured to us if Allah does not want it to be happened to us.Allah give us healthy and wealthy as a testing for us whether we thank to Allah and we use our healthy and wealthy in a good way in line with the instructions of Allah as stated in the Qur'an..Allah gives us illness or sick is also as a testing whether we are patient and ask for help to Allah.Allah gives us a strong warning that in every difficulty there is an easiness.(see surah 94 Alam Nasyrah).Allah created rich and poor humans as a testing or a trial whether we will attempt to overcome it and if we succeed we should thank to AllahWe should ask for Allah's protection from satans temptation by saying A'udzu billahi minasysyaithaanirrajim and begin something by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim or in the name of Allah as stated in the hadith of Muhammad pbuh

An angel visisted once an old couple, poor and sick, to answer their prayers for help. The Angel promised help and left. Then the goat of the couple died and at the same time the next door unjust neighbour found a golden coin on the street. The old lady was bitter and called the Angel again for explanations. Then he answered: "I changed the fate of your sick husband with that of the goat and i changed the fortune of the other guy with only one golden coin instead of a full golden bag at the next corner".
God always acts in mysterious ways. I only lay on His hands.

Salam, Ohhhh that's awful. I know you didn't mean it ... Maybe she didn't really mean it. Jannah is under your mother's feet and if she doesn't forgive you... Im afraid you won't be able to go to Jannah. This happens with my mother too. If by accident, I yell at her then apologize, she sometimes don't forgive. But at the end, she finishes by forgiving. Ask for Allah's mercy because Allah can do anything. Also, let her calm down and then go to her and ask her forgivness again. I hope it works. Hugzzzz :) Salam sis!

Because of Adam's downfall we all inherited his sin. ALLAH was showing Adam what he had done to all humankind. Adam felt sad and needed to tell ALLAH he should have made them all equal. ALLAH knowing He will be sending His Son Muhammad to earth to save mankind and be their Redeemer knows that mankind will be praising Him and thanking Him for all their lives. Thanking ALLAH up to the judgment day for all the blessings we have in our life. Even the sick and the poor have their blessings, and their blessings will be plentiful on the day of judgment and beyond. The ones that keep faith and believe in ALLAH are those that thank Him everyday.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like Allah wants humans to be grateful for what He's given like good health, happiness, and wealth. If we were all wealthy, happy, and healthy all the time we would not know suffering, and perhaps not be as thankful for these things.

Allah's answer mean: when a healthy person see a sick person, he/she will thank Allah for his/her health.

So Allah like to be praised and thanked, that is why he made people different because then they could look to each other and thank for what they have better than the misfortune ones.

ALLAH (subhanah wa tallah) meant to say that every one should always know how to say alhamudullah not matter what the situation. allah loves his creations and will never like to hurt any one but also he know what he is doing and for what reason too so next time if any thing good or bad happens please say alhamudullah cos if it is bad for you it can be worse for the other...........

hadith (G.S.I.Y.H.) were written by desert people (G.S.I.Y.H.A.) who had never actually seen Allah because nobody ever has. The main reason for this is that he is a figment of your imagination as is the case with religion in general. Abraham committed child abuse and left serious mental scars on his son, Ismael, but he called it god's command as opposed to his hallucination (good old desert heat at work again). If Abe were to do what he did today, he'd be in deep trouble with Child Protective Services. (Of course, if women in Islamic countries were living here, in the west, they would have their Muslim husbands arrested for abuse) and if they also wanted to leave Islam, they could do so without fear of death. Insofar as your question is concerned, it is apparent that your Allah (G.S.I.Y.H.A) has ego problems with his or her need to be thanked. DUH. Get real. Oh, of course I expect you to block me report me, and do all you could do in Allah's name, but at least you can't cut off my head (A.H.) Inshallah. Do women get 72 dudes when they die? By the way, if Jesus had died thirty years ago, would Christians wear little electric chairs instead of crosses?

I just read " i liked to be thanked ".

It means that we should present gratitude to the GOD , parts of GOD (what we are) ,different manifestation of GOD, for being kind / generous & present our gratitude to them like your parents, friends, realtives,sweeper ,driver of the vehicle you travel in , policeman etc. etc. ..... whosever is connected with you & works for you ....so many a times selflessly.

It means you can get connected to GOD & his manifestation by your thankful attitude of love & harmony.This creates empathy & is not a mere formality of saying "thank you".
