Think about is, Nature is the reason for the Universe and everything around us, if you're an Atheist, and God is if you're a Theist, so why can't God=Nature. Is their a belief system based of this elementary theory that Nature, which is everything and everyone, is the same as God?

Well, there is no "god" just like a unified force.

Wouldn't that makes us gods, too?
Science tells us that the natural came into being at a specific point in time. Could something with any degree of divinity be created outside of its own control, except by a higher, non-natural god?

Well there is more than this universe, you know. Then that would equate to there being more to God then this universe or nature. Consider all the findings of the last 70 years, there is no place for a mechanical system, where there is only physical/nature/universe. We should all know by know that there are other planes of existence, the field shows us this. Matter is a disturbance in the field, our perceptions of matter being concrete, that the universe is all there is would be an great illusion. Our minds mathematically interpret frequencies/vibrations from a dimension that is beyond time/space, none of these things are essentially concrete our minds create the construct of solidness of this reality.
In a world where these things are true, in a place where our minds causes the collasp of wavefunction, who says that there isn't more than nature, this reality? Einstien seem to think so..
“We may therefore regard matter as being constituted by the regions of space in which the field is extremely intense… There is no place in this new kind of physics both for the field and matter, for the field is the only reality”
As well as
"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one"
physicist Walter Thirring makes a observation: “has put our thinking about the essence of matter in a different context. It has taken our gaze from the visible - the particles - to the underlying entity, the field. The presence of matter is merely a disturbance of the perfect state of the field at that place; something accidental, one could almost say, a ‘blemish’. Accordingly, there are no simple laws describing the forces between elementary particles… Order and symmetry must be sought in the underlying field.”
And the problem deals with that last sentence by Walter Thirring, order and symmetry can't be gained from this reality, but the reality that transcends it, from which this reality has activity from. There is a higher reality to all things. There is more than just nature, so there is more to God. God is nature, there is an aspect of God that is nature rather. Just as we are multi-level beings with our own cosmology which is beyond just our organic nature, so is God. Why limit God, why limit ourselves? Because the common thing taught today is that when you look in the mirror that is sum of your being, or when you look out at nature that is all there is? There is more.

Well, Viktor. My God, stop it! (Ha ha ha! Your parents have some interesting memories of your early childhood, I bet)
OK. What you're talking about is a form of animism, which most pagan and shamanistic faiths draw heavily on. Everything in nature (even a rock or a place) has a spirit. Shinto, the native religion of Japan is like that.
You might also find the following books very interesting: "The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge " by Carlos Castaneda, and the other books he wrote. This book may be more about anthropology and taking hallucinogenic drugs, than about any religion.
Also the books by Martin Prechtel are interesting too - about shamanism. This guy is a Native American (half Swiss, half Canadien) who journeyed to Lake Atitlan in Guatemala and became a shaman there. His first book is called "Secrets of the Talking Jaguar."

I believe that God created nature. God stands apart and above everything so He could never equal anything except Himself.

i agree with you, it's the definitions that get people all messed up.
god is nature, and so much more...
problem is when you try to define god as this specific thing, you put god in a box- you limit what god could be, what god is.
the truth of it is so big, it can only be pointed at, and that's why we have tried in so many ways to decribe the undefineable- infinite, eternal, unlimited, beyond comprehension and words

There's a religion like that.
But mainly because most people feel the need for God to be superior and nature isn't considered superior to humans.

The early American indians considered nature and everything in it to be God. In some ways they are/were right. I am a Christian and believe that God shouts to us through nature.

Nature is not the reason for anything, it's just a term for the way things are unless disturbed by outside, sentient influences. Nature is not sentient in any way.

God is who He says He is. It's written in His Word, the Holy Bible. If you are "creating" your own God to suit yourself, you are worshiping a FALSE GOD, one made for your own liking. That god would only exist in your mind.
WORSHIP THE CREATOR, NOT THE CREATION!!
